It is very sandy. I used the exact measurements of the recipe and it was more like a graham cracker crust for cheesecake. I still baked it thinking the heat of the oven maybe melts the brown sugar and forms clumps… wishful thinking, I know. I LOVE your picture and really wanted the beautiful clumps of streusel. I will try again, but I need to see what I can do differently. Thanks!!

Hi Lise-Anne! Converting pan sizes is always tricky. Here are some sites I use as a guideline:

https://www.cookipedia.co.uk/recipes_wiki/Cake_tin_conversion_charts
Based on that I would increase the recipe by 1/3. Change the Servings from 12 to 16 to get the amounts. Baking time may be slightly differnet.

Congratulations on NOT making a recipe for cake with oil!
Yuck! Of course it’s going to be moist. It’s got a cup of oil in it , which will never solidify, so it basically just lubes the cake forever. Make me shudder. I think if those cheap
Convenient store muffins wrapped in cellophane.
So I am making this for my son’s birthday in 2 days. I’m an oldie but goodie mom of 5 and have baked many cakes. I know a good recipe when I see it. So thank you and hats off to you for a no lube recipe!
